Graphic Designer (Conservative Politics)

The designer will create effective print materials for nonprofit and political fundraising campaigns, such as direct mail packages and newsletters, while constantly learning direct-response best practices to improve client performance through creative design and testing. They must also collaborate with copywriters to translate concepts into compelling layouts and work with Project Managers to prepare files for print production.
Responsibilities
- Design effective print materials for nonprofit and political fundraising campaigns, including direct mail packages, donor newsletters, calendars, and other inserts
- Be a forever student of direct response
- Be obsessed with results
- Maintain a positive, solution-oriented mindset
- Build strong relationships with HSP’s Creative team of copywriters, translating their creative concepts into visually compelling layouts that drive results
- Collaborate with HSP’s Project Managers to prepare package files for print production, ensuring accuracy and high quality
Requirements
- Technical proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, or similar design tools
- Alignment with HSP’s mission and share in our commitment to support conservative clients and principles
- Clear and effective communicator who welcomes collaboration and feedback
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Ability to work with different teams and personalities while respectfully pushing for the desired outcome
