UI Designer - Customer Strategy Department, Platform Strategy Supervisory Department (CSD)

The UI Designer will create engaging UI designs for products and services within the Rakuten Ecosystem and propose improvements based on customer and business issues. They will also produce various creative assets and promote design innovation using technologies like generative AI.
Responsibilities
- Create UI designs for products and services within the Rakuten Ecosystem
- Propose and implement UI improvements based on hypotheses addressing customer and business issues
- Produce concept art, key visuals, and various creative assets
- Design and specify motion design and micro-animations
- Build prototypes to support team discussions and validation
Requirements
- 3+ years of UI design experience for web, mobile, or app environments
- Ability to propose and execute design solutions for problem-solving
- Proficiency with UI design and prototyping tools, such as Figma, Adobe XD, etc.
- Business-level Japanese
- Strong communication, coordination, and collaboration skills
