Product Designer - Mechatronics - Paris & Cambridge

The Product Designer will create detailed designs and develop prototypes for mechanical systems, ensuring they meet performance and safety standards. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate designs into production and conduct tests to validate designs.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed designs, perform calculations, and develop prototypes for mechanical systems
• Develop electro-hydraulic, computer-controlled systems integrating hydraulic components, sensors, input devices, and control logic
• Analyze and select appropriate materials and components based on mechanical properties, cost, and suitability for manufacturing processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering
• Previous design experience within similar industries to forestry
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, control logic, mobile computer systems, user interfaces, low power electrical design, and mobile hydraulic systems
