Responsibilities
- Own and evolve foundational systems: design systems, interaction models, AI workflows, and product architectures that scale across teams and products
- Set a high bar for design craft and taste, influencing visual language, interaction quality, and experiential coherence across the organization
- Design for intelligent, adaptive systems, including humanâAI collaboration patterns, automation, and emergent behaviors
- Lead complex, ambiguous initiatives end-to-end as a senior ICâframing problems, proposing bold directions, and driving execution
- Prototype rapidly and strategically to explore ideas, de-risk decisions, and unlock new product opportunities
- Partner deeply with product, engineering, and research leaders to shape product vision and long-term strategy
- Act as a thought partner and mentor to other designers, raising system literacy and craft quality without formal management responsibility
- Influence how design is practiced: tools, methods, principles, and the role of experimentation in product development
