The role involves conducting user research and designing user-friendly digital interfaces for public sector and tech-related projects. The consultant will collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into innovative design solutions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive user research, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and user testing
- Analyse and synthesise data to produce actionable insights
- Design user-friendly, responsive, and aesthetically engaging digital interfaces for web and mobile applications
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including government officials, tech developers, content strategists, and project managers
- Translate business and user requirements into innovative design solutions
- Lead the development of UX strategies for digital transformation projects in government and tech
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer or Consultant
- Experience working on projects within government or local authority agencies
- Proven experience designing user interfaces, working with innovative technologies, startups, or established tech companies
- Familiarity with modern web and mobile app technologies
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools including Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD
- Deep knowledge of user-centered design principles and methodologies
