Product Designer I

The Product Designer I will understand user and business needs, working with the team to identify opportunities and solutions. They will define user experiences and visual designs, produce detailed specifications, and collaborate with engineers.
Responsibilities
- Understand user needs and business needs, and work with the team to determine opportunities and hypotheses for solutions
- Use basic research techniques, competitive analysis, and data to advise strategic and tactical design decisions
- Define the user experience and visual design of solutions from conception through shipping and beyond
- Give and solicit feedback from other designers to continually improve quality and craftsmanship
Requirements
- 2+ years of product design experience
- Passion for solving problems that result in real-world impact
- Bachelor's degree in a related field like HCI, graphic design, industrial design, or social sciences
- Portfolio of work demonstrating skills on at least a couple of previous projects
- Insatiable intellectual curiosity and the ability to learn quickly in a complex space
