The Senior UI/UX Designer will lead the entire design process from discovery and research through visual design and delivery, while collaborating with product managers and engineering teams to define product direction. Key duties include conducting advanced user research, establishing design standards, and providing mentorship to junior designers.
Responsibilities
- Leading the end-to-end design process from discovery, research, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, to delivery
- Collaborating closely with product managers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to define product direction and design strategy
- Translating complex business requirements into simple, elegant, and engaging user experiences
- Conducting advanced user research, persona development, journey mapping, and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Establishing and evolving the organization’s design system, style guide, and design standards for consistency across all platforms
- Providing art direction, design reviews, and constructive feedback to mid/junior UI/UX designers
- Ensuring designs meet accessibility (WCAG) and responsive design best practices
- Staying updated on emerging design trends, tools, and technologies to drive innovation
Requirements
- Proven expertise with design and prototyping tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and InVision
- Strong portfolio demonstrating complex UX workflows, visual design excellence, and measurable business impact
- Advanced understanding of user-centered design, interaction design principles, and usability heuristics
- Solid understanding of responsive design, design systems, and accessibility standards
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and collaboration with development teams
- Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
