The role involves owning and designing UX/UI execution for complex in-vehicle digital features across multiple global truck brands, translating requirements into high-quality, end-to-end design solutions from concept through final UI. Responsibilities also include rigorously applying user-centered design principles, planning user research, building prototypes, delivering implementation-ready outputs, and contributing to design systems.
Responsibilities
- Own and design UX/UI design execution for complex in-vehicle digital features or systems across multiple global truck brandsāfrom problem framing through final delivery
- Translate requirements and user needs into high-quality, end-to-end design solutions, from early concepts through final UI, working independently with minimal guidance beyond high-level direction and periodic design critique
- Apply user-centered design principles rigorously, leveraging research insights, system constraints, and brand guidelines to inform and justify design decisions
- Plan, support, and synthesize user research activities (interviews, usability testing, surveys), clearly articulating findings and design implications to cross-functional stakeholders
- Deliver implementation-ready design outputs, including annotated specifications, component behavior definitions, and assets that enable accurate and efficient development
Requirements
- Bachelorās Degree in UX, Interaction Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, with internship experience or up to 1ā2 years of professional experience in UX/UI, product design, automotive, mobility, or complex digital products
- A portfolio (academic, internship, or personal work) that demonstrates strong visual and interaction design execution, problem-solving ability, and ownership of outcomes
- Solid grounding in user-centered design principles and design thinking, with demonstrated motivation to grow into HMI and system-level UX practices
- Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (or equivalent), with the ability to produce polished, implementation-ready design outputs
- Experience collaborating with engineering or development teams, including clear communication of design decisions, tradeoffs, and rationale
