The Visual/Graphic Designer will be responsible for owning the visual brand across the entire company, translating complex engineering concepts into clean, compelling visuals for proposals, digital campaigns, and marketing materials. This role involves designing modern, polished materials for multiple offices and partnering in the marketing process to shape strategy through design.
Responsibilities
- Own the visual brand across the entire company
- Translate complex engineering concepts into clean, compelling, and easily grasped visuals
- Design modern, polished proposals using layout, typography, imagery, and graphics
- Develop consistent marketing materials for multiple offices, disciplines, and project types
- Partner in the marketing process, understanding campaign goals and helping shape strategy through design
- Create and evolve graphic assets that strengthen Civil Science's brand identity and presence
- Design for print and digital, including infographics, ads, flyers, banners, slide decks, and event materials
- Support digital initiatives, including web content, social media visuals, animations/GIFs, and other online assets
Requirements
- 2+ years of graphic design experience in a professional setting
- A/E/C industry experience is a requirement
- Portfolio demonstrating versatility, originality, and strong foundational design skills
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design preferred
- High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technical environment
- Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer, ability to lift up to 30 pounds at times
