Business Support Assistant (Graphic Designer) - SSA4

The incumbent will support the Communications unit with graphic design and information management tasks, creating visually appealing materials for reports, presentations, and social media. They will also function as an in-house video editor and contribute to the implementation of the Communication and Advocacy Strategy.
Responsibilities
- Support the Communications unit with day-to-day activities in information management and graphic design tasks
- Function as in-house video editor for small documentaries and social media content
- Contribute to the successful implementation of the Communication and Advocacy Strategy by ensuring high quality design of knowledge products and visually appealing internal and external communication
- Develop infographics for the VAM, Programme, Partnerships and Supply Chain teams upon request
- Liaise with provincial offices on donor visibility - support the development and approval process of visibility material for use in the field
- Upgrade the design of briefs and advocacy notes in the already existing 'Briefing package' shared by the Country Director with partners and donors on a regular basis
- Perform any other tasks aligned with the role and expertise as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
- Completion of secondary school education
- A post-secondary certificate in Communications, International relations, Mass-media, Business Administration, Political Science or similar is a strong advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, International relations, Mass-media, Business Administration, Political Science or similar is desirable
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience working in graphic design with a solid portfolio of successful deliverables
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong team player
- Expert skills in the use of Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, InDesign, Publisher, Canva, Wochit
- Fluency in English (level C) and Urdu is required
