This role involves leading the design vision and coordinating work across eCommerce product teams to ensure customer-centric design excellence by influencing product strategy and leading design workshops. The Lead UX/UI Designer will also serve as a design authority, guiding decisions, managing design intake, and contributing to foundational experience artifacts like journey mapping and component libraries.

Responsibilities

  • Influence product and business strategy through strong stakeholder partnerships at leadership levels
  • Lead design workshops and vision work for cross-functional teams
  • Serve as a design authority within the pod structure, guiding decisions, resolving tradeoffs, and ensuring high-quality experience outcomes
  • Participate in UX design intake and work distribution among designers
  • Contribute to journey mapping, component library governance, and other foundational experience artifacts
  • Run design reviews and critiques to evolve and validate that proposed design solutions align with vision, requirements, existing architecture, and established design systems

Requirements

  • Creativity: Knowledge of creative approaches and techniques for designing innovative eComm experiences
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Ability to analyze user needs and make informed design decisions for eComm experiences
