
Lead UX_UI Designer

This role involves leading the design vision and coordinating work across eCommerce product teams to ensure customer-centric design excellence by influencing product strategy and leading design workshops. The Lead UX/UI Designer will also serve as a design authority, guiding decisions, managing design intake, and contributing to foundational experience artifacts like journey mapping and component libraries.
Responsibilities
- Influence product and business strategy through strong stakeholder partnerships at leadership levels
- Lead design workshops and vision work for cross-functional teams
- Serve as a design authority within the pod structure, guiding decisions, resolving tradeoffs, and ensuring high-quality experience outcomes
- Participate in UX design intake and work distribution among designers
- Contribute to journey mapping, component library governance, and other foundational experience artifacts
- Run design reviews and critiques to evolve and validate that proposed design solutions align with vision, requirements, existing architecture, and established design systems
Requirements
- Creativity: Knowledge of creative approaches and techniques for designing innovative eComm experiences
- Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Ability to analyze user needs and make informed design decisions for eComm experiences
- Human-Centered Design (HCD): Ability to design eCommerce experiences that meet real user needs and deliver business outcomes
- UX/UI Design: Ability to design intuitive, effective eCommerce experiences
