Digital Graphic Designer

The Digital Graphic Designer will undertake a range of graphic design projects across digital, online, and print materials, focusing on interactive and multimedia formats. They will also provide graphic design advice to other units within the university.
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate designs and their effectiveness for a range of media
- Provide graphic design advice to other units across the university
- Utilise creativity and experience to undertake a range of graphic design projects
- Design for interactive and multimedia formats
Requirements
- Tertiary degree in a design-related field, or a combination of relevant post-secondary qualifications and experience in a design-related field
- Proven ability to produce static and animated digital graphics for use within websites, web applications, and online advertising campaigns
- Exemplary organisational and time management skills
- High-level interpersonal skills
- Expertise in planning, print, and production processes and techniques to achieve objectives within design projects scope
- Detailed knowledge of production software applications including Adobe Creative Cloud and Google Web Designer
- Proven knowledge and experience using Campaign Monitor
- Ability to exercise judgement and well-developed problem-solving skills ranging from analytical to creative
- Understanding of the issues relating to the management of large complex web and branding projects
