The Senior E-commerce Designer will craft high-performing Shopify experiences to enhance user engagement and drive conversions. This includes designing website experiences, marketing assets, and collaborating with developers to ensure effective implementation.
Responsibilities
- Design conversion-focused Shopify website experiences from concept to final UI
- Create clear UX flows based on business and marketing goals
- Design homepage, collection, and product page layouts
- Design marketing banners, promotional assets, and supporting visuals
- Build and maintain clean, scalable design systems in Figma
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure designs are buildable and accurately implemented
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX or e-commerce design
- Advanced proficiency in Figma (UX flows, UI systems, components, auto-layout)
- Strong experience designing e-commerce websites, preferably Shopify
- Clear understanding of the online buying journey and conversion principles
- Excellent eye for layout, spacing, typography, and visual hierarchy
- Ability to design original concepts without relying on templates or UI kits
