
The Product Designer will define and evolve user experiences for SaaS applications in sales and marketing, collaborating closely with product and technology teams. They will create prototypes, assess project requirements, and ensure user experiences align with company goals.
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve all user experiences for a range of industry-leading SaaS applications in the sales and marketing space
- Employ a user-centric design process in the creation of simple user experiences for complex systems
- Create low and high-fidelity UI prototypes that allow users to walk through a user experience at various points throughout the design process
- Assess requirements, alternatives, and risks or benefits for projects
- Manage test activities for each application
- Design and implement prototypes, visual interfaces, and interaction of web-based applications
- Ensure that user experience is formulated to achieve Company goals
- Develop and maintain our design systems
- Effectively communicate ideas and interaction using prototypes, flow charts and other tools
- Engage and empathize with users to better understand their needs and guide decisions
- Collaborate with developers to understand whatโs possible before hand-off
- Collaborate with other designers to establish design guidelines, best practices and standards across the company
Requirements
- Strong portfolio that demonstrates UX and visual skills in digital products
- Experience in UX design such as human centered design, information design, and workshop & meeting facilitation
- Experience creating typical UX documentation, such as site maps, flow diagrams, annotation documents, etc.
- Have experience closely partnering with product managers to develop the strategy and rationale for features
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Experience with prototyping and usability testing also a plus
- Ability to think at a high level about product strategy
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Zeplin, Invision, Adobe Creative Suit etc.
- Basic understanding of design systems, their use and benefits
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
