Senior Product Designer (Design Engineer)
Motion Remote (🇨🇦 Kitchener, Ontario, Canada)
The Senior Product Designer will plan and execute user research, own the end-to-end design process, and collaborate closely with engineers and product managers. They will also identify areas for refinement and maintain the component library for consistency.
Responsibilities
- Planning and executing user research to inform design decisions
- Owning the end-to-end design process, from discovery and research through to shipped product
- Collaborating closely with engineers, product managers, and context engineers
- Proactively identifying areas to refine or redesign
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing digital products
- Strong portfolio demonstrating craft, process, and product thinking
- Exceptional visual and UI design skills
- Systems thinking
- Proficiency in Figma and understanding of design systems
