You will work with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to understand customer needs and design tools that automate tasks. You will see your design work through from start to finish, turning insights into ideas and shipping products that enhance Datadog.
Responsibilities
- Work with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to understand customer needs
- Develop the expertise in your product area, learning from and collaborating with designers
- Communicate design work and the support for design decisions
- Work closely with engineering teams to understand how designs will be built
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in product design
- Proven track record of shipping end-to-end design work
- Excellent visual and verbal communicator
- Understanding of systems thinking and component-based design patterns
- Experience with advanced prototyping tools (e.g. Principle, Framer, Sketch, Figma, InVision)
