SDS Design Engineering Director 1

The Director will drive design engineering execution across the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) Division portfolio, leading Electrical Design, Parts Materials & Process, and Specialty Engineering functions throughout the product lifecycle. This includes establishing and directing standardized design engineering practices, tools, and technical training resources across dispersed teams and subcontractor sites.

Responsibilities

• Establish, optimize, and drive standardized engineering processes, tools, and technical training resources
• Lead a cross-functional team to achieve balance in Technical Rigor
• Optimize execution of business outcomes by establishing strategic Program Partnerships
• Drive design engineering execution across the SDS Division portfolio
• Lead Electrical Design, Parts Materials & Process and Specialty Engineering functions
• Direct integrated processes that cover the complete product lifecycle

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of related experience or Master's Degree and 8 years of related experience
• Experience in a formal management position
• At least 3+ years of experience managing technical, high-complexity programs
• U.S. Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance
• Ability to obtain program special access
