The Senior Web Designer will lead the design execution behind Janeās web experience, collaborating with engineering and marketing to build a modern web platform. This role involves setting design patterns and standards that influence how work is done across the company.
Responsibilities
- Raise the bar for Jane's web experience by delivering accessible, performant, and beautifully crafted UX and UI
- Lead the evolution of Jane's marketing website design system, creating scalable components and patterns that support a new CMS and long-term growth
- Translate Jane's refreshed brand into a cohesive, expressive, and usable web experience across thousands of pages, components, and use cases
- Drive large-scale website redesign work with care and pragmatism, balancing quick wins with foundational improvements that reduce future complexity and rework
- Own web design outcomes in close partnership with engineering and web marketing, helping define standards teams can confidently build against
- Collaborate deeply and communicate clearly with partners across Web Marketing, Brand, Content, Growth, Product Design, and Engineering to align design intent with technical execution and shared outcomes
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in web, product, or systems design
- SaaS experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of how responsive, mobile, and desktop experiences work together as a cohesive system
- Proven experience leading large-scale website redesigns or platform transitions
- Deep expertise in design systems, component libraries, and CMS-driven, component-based web experiences
- Advanced proficiency in Figma
- Strong UX foundations paired with polished visual and interaction design
- Solid working knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and inclusive design practices
