The Staff Product Designer will own regulatory build outcomes for eBay Live’s global expansion, ensuring seamless experiences across selling and buying flows. They will collaborate with various teams to transform complex regulatory requirements into clear, shippable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Own regulatory build outcomes for eBay Live’s global expansion, ensuring flawless, scalable experiences across selling and buying flows.
- Collaborate across fields, including product management, engineering, legal, policy, research, and content, to transform complex regulatory requirements into clear, shippable solutions.
- Lead end-to-end build processes from discovery through delivery, balancing speed, quality, and compliance in a high-visibility product area.
- Ensure usability, clarity, and accessibility by working with research and content partners to test, validate, and refine regulatory experiences.
Requirements
- Proven experience in crafting and delivering end-to-end product experiences in close collaboration with product management and engineering.
- Experience in regulated, trust- and safety-centered, or policy-limited areas, transforming legal and compliance requirements into clear, usable customer experiences.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with experience working alongside legal, policy, research, and content teams.
- Ability to operate with ownership in ambiguous problem spaces, framing problems, exploring solutions, and driving work forward with minimal direction.
