Staff Product Designer

Responsibilities

• Lead a strategic Product Area

• Drive clarity, direction, and impact across teams
• Orchestrate product improvements
• Simplify and enhance our products end-to-end
• Shape the design direction
• Establish design objectives for teams
• Contribute to long-term product strategy
• Elevate design craft
• Guide designers through their growth
• Design at multiple altitudes
• Shift effortlessly between high-level systems thinking and detailed interaction/visual design
• Collaborate across disciplines
• Work with Research, Content, Design System, Brand, and cross-functional stakeholders

Requirements

• Solid experience with high-traffic products
• Hands-on and not afraid to get your hands dirty
• Strong command of visual design, interaction design, and system-level thinking across web and mobile
• Solid collaboration with Product, Data, and Engineering leadership to define and drive product direction
• Experience in scaling and fast-paced contexts
• Natural ownership and ability to make proposals
• Fluent in English
• Outstanding portfolio that demonstrates excellence in craft, systems thinking, and the ability to turn complex problems into simple, elegant solutions
