Responsibilities

- Drive clarity, direction, and impact across teams
- Orchestrate product improvements
- Simplify and enhance our products end-to-end
- Shape the design direction
- Establish design objectives for teams
- Contribute to long-term product strategy
- Elevate design craft
- Guide designers through their growth
- Design at multiple altitudes
- Shift effortlessly between high-level systems thinking and detailed interaction/visual design
- Collaborate across disciplines
- Work with Research, Content, Design System, Brand, and cross-functional stakeholders
Requirements
- Solid experience with high-traffic products
- Hands-on and not afraid to get your hands dirty
- Strong command of visual design, interaction design, and system-level thinking across web and mobile
- Solid collaboration with Product, Data, and Engineering leadership to define and drive product direction
- Experience in scaling and fast-paced contexts
- Natural ownership and ability to make proposals
- Fluent in English
- Outstanding portfolio that demonstrates excellence in craft, systems thinking, and the ability to turn complex problems into simple, elegant solutions
