Responsibilities
- Lead product design from discovery to delivery with minimal supervision
- Translate user needs into journeys, flows, and interfaces that drive action and adoption
- Plan and conduct user research, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations, and synthesise findings into actionable insights
- Facilitate ideation and co-creation workshops with internal teams or stakeholders
- Partner closely with PMs and engineers to scope and deliver solutions
- Present and advocate design decisions to senior stakeholders confidently
- Design using modern tools like Figma and Notion, and leverage AI tools to improve design speed and productivity
- Contribute to and evolve the design system and interaction patterns
- Maintain a strong feedback loop with users, analytics, and qualitative insights
- Balance engagement mechanics with clarity, inclusiveness, and public-sector sensibilities
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing digital products, preferably in product-led or agile teams
- Ability to own projects end-to-end, from framing to final design handoff
- Strong communication skills to articulate UX, UI, and interaction decisions clearly
- Confidence in stakeholder engagement, including presenting to leadership/senior management
- Proficiency in using Figma, prototyping, and delivering responsive interfaces
- Working knowledge of AI-enabled design tools (e.g., Figma Make, Loveables, Galileo AI, or Figma AI plugins)
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and iterate quickly
- A curious, empathetic, and non-assumptive mindset
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality UI and interaction designs for production systems
