CASAS Graphic Designer Student Assistant

Assist CASAS with creative media needs for events, marketing, and print and digital materials. Duties include producing materials using Adobe Creative Suite, ensuring branding standards, and completing special projects as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Uses knowledge of current graphic design software within Adobe Creative Suite to produce print and digital materials
- Ensure that all University and departmental branding and marketing standards are followed
- Assist with edits and updates to previously created designs
- Remain abreast of technological advances in the field, identify areas of use in the organization, and stay familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures
- Demonstrate basic understanding and usage of typography, color theory, and principles and elements of design in all created pieces
- Work on several projects at once, sometimes under pressure and tight deadlines
- Complete special projects as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
- Current Liberty University student in good standing with the University
- Able to work between 12-16 hours a week
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience in graphic design
- Possess a creative mindset, intellectual curiosity, and a desire to learn
- Able to give and receive creative feedback
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting
- Must be detail-oriented and able to work well under pressure, prioritize projects, and meet deadlines
