UI/UX Designer (f/m/d) - Remote in Germany

You will shape how engineers interact with complex simulation and analysis tools through our automation platform. This includes driving discovery, mapping user journeys, and collaborating closely with developers to ensure intuitive designs.

Responsibilities

• Drive discovery & feedback loops: engage with real users to gather insights, test assumptions, and continuously improve the experience
• UX concepts and UI design: organize and facilitate design sessions, uncover and define user journeys for technical workflows
• Work in the Product Trio: shape the product vision, gather requirements, and turn complexity into clarity
• Deliver Value Quickly but with Quality: balance creativity with pragmatism to ensure high-quality designs while meeting sprint goals
• Strengthen Our Design Culture: actively participate in design critiques among designers and help raise the bar across the company

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on UI/UX design experience designing products in the mechanical engineering space
• Good understanding of engineering processes, e.g. CAD modelling, simulations like FEA or CFD
• Experience with 3D interfaces or visualization tools
• Proven track record of end-to-end design ownership, from discovery research through shipped product
• Strong visual design skills
• Figma proficiency
• Experience working in product trios or closely embedded with PMs and engineers in agile/iterative environments
