The Staff Product Designer will lead discovery work to understand user and business problems and own end-to-end design for significant features. They will collaborate with product managers and engineers to ship experiences that balance user needs with business strategy.
Responsibilities
- Discovery and strategy: lead discovery work to deeply understand user and business problems
- Design and delivery: own end-to-end design for significant features and experiences
- Collaborate effectively with engineers throughout implementation
- Influence and leadership: advocate for users and design quality in cross-functional discussions
- Present and defend design decisions to stakeholders at all levels
Requirements
- Product design experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end work
- Exceptional craft skills across interaction, visual, and systems thinking
- Deep understanding of user-centred design principles and how to apply them in complex product contexts
- Experience working within design systems and contributing to their evolution
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance design process and output
- Track record of shipping successful products in fast-paced environments
