The Lead UX Designer will create and drive exceptional experiences for the NWEA assessment space, focusing on user-centered design. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve the overall user experience and eliminate pain points.

Responsibilities

  • Create and drive exceptional experiences for educators, students, and families
  • Partner with multidisciplinary teams to achieve great things for users
  • Guide and direct teams to focus on diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility
  • Establish a strategy for the execution of a valuable, usable, and delightful user experience

Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in HCI, Human Factors, Information Design, Web Design, or related field
  • Strong portfolio showcasing ability to integrate user research, personas, journeys, and touchpoints
  • Experience facilitating collaboration and shepherding teams from problem space to solution
  • Strong experience with UX tools such as Figma, Miro, Axure, and Jira
