The Lead UX Designer will create and drive exceptional experiences for the NWEA assessment space, focusing on user-centered design. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve the overall user experience and eliminate pain points.
Responsibilities
- Create and drive exceptional experiences for educators, students, and families
- Partner with multidisciplinary teams to achieve great things for users
- Guide and direct teams to focus on diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility
- Establish a strategy for the execution of a valuable, usable, and delightful user experience
Requirements
- Minimum bachelor's degree in HCI, Human Factors, Information Design, Web Design, or related field
- Strong portfolio showcasing ability to integrate user research, personas, journeys, and touchpoints
- Experience facilitating collaboration and shepherding teams from problem space to solution
- Strong experience with UX tools such as Figma, Miro, Axure, and Jira
