Senior Product Designer

The Senior Product Designer will own design at a squad level, co-creating product strategy and leading design from understanding user needs to high-quality execution. They will partner closely with Engineering to deliver polished, scalable solutions while contributing to shared patterns and maintaining coherence across Preply.

Responsibilities

• Own design at a squad level, co-creating product strategy and the product roadmap with your Product Manager counterpart
• Lead design end-to-end - from understanding learner and tutor needs, to exploration, prototyping, iteration, and high-quality execution
• Design bold, thoughtful learning and growth experiences, using research, feedback, and experimentation to improve usability and outcomes
• Challenge assumptions and push beyond existing patterns, exploring what the experience could be - not just what it is today

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Product Designer on B2C products with frequent, real-world usage
• Clear ownership of product design at a squad level, collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and leadership to guide outcomes
• Exceptional craft and product judgment, demonstrated through shipped work
• Strong user empathy, with experience using research, data, and experimentation to inform decisions
