Motion Graphic Designer

The Motion Graphic Designer will produce and implement motion graphics for the Memphis Grizzlies and affiliated properties, focusing on enhancing the in-game fan experience. This role involves working within design style guides and collaborating with various departments to execute creative campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Produce and implement motion graphics for the Grizzlies and all affiliated properties.
- Work within design style guides to carry out creative campaigns for various departments including partnerships, in game presentation, tickets, and more.
- Animate logos, brand assets, typography and design elements.
- Support cross functional communication with other departments to bring different animation strategies to life in a visually impactful way.
- Attend meetings as requested for both Broadcast and Live Entertainment teams and participate actively in the creative process of both departments.
- Take direction from Sr. Graphic Designer and periodically receive feedback from Art Director.
- Execute creative project direction, goals and requirements as set and assigned by the Creative Project Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic design or a related field required.
- 1–3 years of experience creating graphic designs.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-changing environment.
- Must be a team player, highly motivated with a strong attention to detail and organization.
- Thorough knowledge of design techniques using Adobe AfterEffects, Photoshop, Illustrator and Cinema 4D.
- Understanding of video and animation codecs.
