UX Designer

The UX Designer will plan, conduct, and analyze user research to understand user needs and workflows. They will collaborate with engineers and product managers to translate research insights into usable designs for machine learning applications.
Responsibilities
- Plan, conduct, and analyse user research to understand user needs, workflows, and pain points, including research with highly technical users
- Contribute to and lead independent usability research efforts, synthesising findings and clearly communicating insights to inform product and design decisions
- Shape user experiences for both graphical user interfaces and command-line tools, ensuring consistency and usability across different interaction models
- Create wireframes and high-fidelity interactive prototypes to explore and communicate design solutions
- Collaborate closely with engineers to turn research insights into practical, usable solutions
Requirements
- Professional experience in UX design, user research, or a related discipline
- A portfolio demonstrating strong user-centered design thinking, including research-driven projects
- Experience using design and prototyping tools such as Figma or Adobe XD
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly present research findings and design rationale
- Comfortable collaborating with engineers and other technical stakeholders
