Graphic Designer - Athletics

The graphic designer will lead the creation and management of brand assets for ACU's athletics programs, focusing on various media platforms. They will also collaborate with teams to ensure brand consistency and meet project deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Lead all idea generation, creation, and management of Abilene Christian University brand assets through graphic design.
- Work quickly under high pressure in an extremely fast-paced environment, while taking direction from the creative lead, collaborating with the rest of the External team and multi-tasking projects.
- Shape visual look and set graphic plan for department while sticking with established brand guidelines.
- Work cohesively with existing creative, technical and social media staffs through all brand categories.
- Works independently to achieve brand awareness throughout multiple media channels and platforms.
- Research and generate preliminary design, finalize and update print collateral.
- Provide graphic design support within the Athletics department for creating print and digital collateral and signage.
- Conceptualize, direct and create game day production graphics for various video boards and LED scorers tables.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of experience working in a creative atmosphere with a focus on graphic design.
- Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
- Experience in a team environment working cohesively with deadline focus.
- Experience working for or in conjunction with a Division I institution or professional team.
- Ability to work at home athletic events.
- Excellent communication skills as it pertains to internal and external stakeholders.
