
Creative Graphic Designer

The Creative Graphic Designer will create engaging designs for various corporate marketing and communication materials, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines. They will collaborate with internal clients to identify design requirements and deliver projects on time.
Responsibilities
- Create clear and compelling designs that engage and inform internal and external audiences across a range of corporate marketing and communication materials.
- Support the implementation of our visual identity across channels and champion our brand guidelines and best practices.
- Provide expertise and vision in helping to grow our design guidelines and templates.
- Consult and collaborate with internal clients to identify design requirements, evaluate work requests, and make strategic recommendations for solutions.
- Execute and deliver projects by informing workback schedules, maintaining key milestones, circulating work for review, gathering and incorporating feedback, communicating with team members and making adjustments as needed to meet deadlines.
- Review materials to ensure they meet our standards, revises standards and templates as required.
- Continuous learning of new software, accessibility standards and best practices in design.
Requirements
- Technical skills: communication design expertise, print production industry best practices, knowledge of best practice for digital platforms and user-centred design, fundamentals of typography, composition and colour theory.
- Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Illustration skills and experience with accessible design principles considered an asset.

- Completion of post-secondary education in graphic, communication or digital design and 2-5 years of related, recent experience.
