Design and deliver end-to-end user experience solutions for multiple products and platforms. Collaborate with product management and engineering to implement innovative solutions and execute all visual design stages.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver compelling, end-to-end user experience solutions for multiple products and platforms
- Develop conceptual models, personas, workflows, design prototypes, and user interface specifications to demonstrate effectiveness of usability
- Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
- Contribute to our external thought leadership efforts
- Maintain high utilization and report activities into our resource management systems on a timely basis
Requirements
- 6+ years of proven experience in UX and UI experience
- Previous experience in client facing roles at a creative agency
- A detailed portfolio that demonstrates a high level of creativity and an understanding of conversion optimization and user experience
- Skilled at juggling multiple projects while maintaining quality of work
- Ability to run discovery workshops with clients, including defining the process
- Enjoys presenting your designs and selling your solutions to various stakeholders
- Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
- Ability to adapt design to a wide variety of target audiences
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Strong communication (written and verbal), time management and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, InVision, or other design and prototyping tools
- Strong understanding of HTML and CSS, particularly as they relate to design
- Solid knowledge of responsive design, such as how elements react to each device
- Proficiency JavaScript for rapid prototyping is a plus
- Graphic design and illustrator skills are a plus
