Lead Product Designer

As a Lead Product Designer, you will own design across multiple product areas, driving workflows from problem discovery through execution. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to create intuitive experiences for contractors.
Responsibilities
- Own design across multiple product areas, driving end-to-end workflows from problem discovery through execution and iteration
- Proactively identify usability gaps, workflow friction, and opportunities to simplify complex HR, payroll, and operational experiences
- Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers to translate ambiguous problems into clear, intuitive product solutions
- Conduct user research, customer interviews, and usability testing to ground design decisions in real customer needs
- Design simple, scalable, and user-friendly experiences for complex B2B SaaS workflows, cutting unnecessary steps and reducing cognitive load
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer working on complex B2B SaaS or enterprise software products
- Strong product thinking skills with a proven ability to simplify complex workflows and systems
- Experience conducting user research and speaking directly with customers to inform design decisions
- A high degree of ownership and initiative
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with product and engineering partners
