
UI/UX Designer

Lead discovery and design activities to translate user needs and business objectives into actionable insights. Facilitate stakeholder engagement to ensure alignment and clarity throughout the design process.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery efforts to identify user needs, pain points, requirements, and business objectives
- Plan and facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, and working sessions to drive alignment and clarity
- Translate ambiguous problem spaces into clearly defined problem statements and priorities
- Communicate design intent, requirements, and constraints effectively to technical, non-technical, and leadership audiences
- Present findings, recommendations, and design concepts to stakeholders in a clear, inclusive manner
- Synthesize research and discovery findings to produce actionable artifacts (e.g., affinity diagrams, service design diagrams, and customer journey maps)
- Develop wireframes to explore solutions and gather early feedback
- Advocate for user-centered design practices and contribute to the teamâs growth in discovery and design methodologies
- Demonstrate curiosity and a growth mindset by continuously learning new tools, methods, and domain knowledge to improve discovery and design outcomes
Requirements
- Proven experience leading discovery and requirements gathering activities
- Proficiency in creating design artifacts using tools such as Figma, Miro, or similar
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting in and leading meetings
- Experience with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Miro, Sketch)
- Active Secret Clearance
- 3+ years of relevant experience with a BA/BS degree
