Junior UX Designer (SC Cleared) - Associate Consultant - Digital Excellence

As a Junior UX Designer, you will understand user needs and translate them into user-focused design approaches. You will advocate for accessible services and work in a fast-paced environment using Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Use different techniques to understand users and their needs, translating user stories and proposing user-focused design approaches
• Design and prototype user interfaces, ensuring alignment with user needs and business goals
• Advocate for accessible and impactful services, ensuring solutions meet accessibility and inclusivity standards
• Communicate across organisational and technical boundaries, making complex information simple and accessible

Requirements

• A keen interest in user research and user-centred design
• Hands-on experience with user research, including planning and conducting qualitative studies
• Familiarity with quantitative methods, such as surveys, and analysing and synthesising data
• Strong storytelling, communication, and facilitation skills
• Awareness of agile delivery methods and experience working with Government Digital Service (GDS) service standards
