Lead the visual design process for various communication campaigns and branding initiatives. Collaborate with the internal communications team to create visually-driven content that informs and inspires Amazon employees.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the visual design process from concept to completion for communication campaigns, branding initiatives, product launches, and more
  • Design eye-catching graphics, layouts, illustrations, iconography, and other visual elements that elevate the Amazon brand
  • Work collaboratively with the internal communications team to understand messaging needs and translate them into compelling, visually-driven content
  • Provide art direction and oversee the work of freelance designers and external agencies/vendors
  • Communicate with stakeholders and vendors to fully grasp design needs and deliverables
  • Manage a wide array of concurrent design projects
  • Stay up-to-date on design trends and technologies to continuously improve the visual impact and effectiveness of internal communications

Requirements

  • Experience in design
  • Knowledge of branding guidelines and corporate identity, visual design, print and digital layout design
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field
  • Few years of professional graphic design experience, with a strong focus on branding and design systems
  • Exceptional portfolio showcasing branding projects and design systems, demonstrating the ability to create design guidelines and a strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, and color theory
  • Proficiency in design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and PowerPoint
