Senior/Lead Product Designer (Contract)

The Senior/Lead Product Designer will own end-to-end design for complex initiatives and ensure solutions align with business goals and brand vision. They will lead multidisciplinary teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and mentor junior designers.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end design for complex initiatives, new journeys, and product areas, ensuring solutions align with business goals, technical feasibility, and brand vision
- Lead interaction design and define visual directions that align with strategic brand visions
- Champion accessibility audits and define custom requirements to ensure products work for everyone
- Maintain and evolve comprehensive design systems to ensure consistency and efficiency across platforms
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and "bringing others with you"
Requirements
- Proven experience leading complex product design initiatives from concept through to implementation
- Extensive experience in Product Design, including time in a Senior or Lead role, ideally within a digital consultancy or agency environment
- Strong end-to-end product thinking, with the ability to define and lead design strategy from discovery through to launch
- Deep UX/UI expertise across research, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping (e.g. Figma)
