Connectivity Engineer - Data Center Design, Engineering, & Construction

The Connectivity Engineer will manage the full project life-cycle of telecommunication projects, ensuring they are executed on schedule and within budget. Responsibilities include project planning, vendor management, quality assurance, and technical coordination.
Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Control - Create, maintain, and report on site project and program scope, schedules and milestones
- Learnings - Continually review ongoing projects for efficiencies in schedule, budget, and opportunities to enable cross-functional partners to be successful
- Forecasting - Support project controls team with forecasting and budget efforts as required
- Technical Reviews - Establish milestones for equipment purchase and track and report against these milestones
- Metrics - Report progress and risks on site projects and other initiatives to key stakeholders
Requirements
- 7+ years experience in project management
- Experience engaging and guiding stakeholders
- Experience providing solutions to construction related problems
- Experience with MS Office and MS Project
Key Skills
- Experience with MS Office and MS Project
- Experience with Quality Assurance and Quality Control
- Experience with fiber optic testing at scale inclusive of complex troubleshooting
- Experience with outside plant cabling deployments including OTDR/OLTS testing
