Design end-to-end flows and interfaces for platform experiences such as observability, billing, and monetization. Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to shape the long-term user experience of Confluent’s platform.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end flows and interfaces for platform experiences such as observability, billing, and monetization
- Create clear data visualizations (dashboards, charts, tables, timelines) that help users understand the state and health of their systems, usage, and configurations
- Work within and contribute to Confluent’s design system, ensuring consistency across multiple product areas while evolving patterns as the platform grows
- Participate in discovery and research with PMs, Eng partners, and user researchers: framing problems, mapping journeys, exploring concepts, and running or supporting usability tests
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Designer / UX Designer working on web-based products, ideally in B2B or SaaS
- Demonstrated experience designing data-heavy or analytical interfaces, including thoughtful use of charts, tables, and information hierarchy
- Experience collaborating closely with product managers and engineers to ship features from discovery through implementation and iteration
