Product Designers lead the user-centered design process for projects and features, creating impactful experiences that meet business and user objectives. They collaborate with product management and engineering teams to develop product strategies and ensure successful market releases.
Responsibilities
- Identify high-impact business problems and define the features and user experiences to solve them
- Transform business and customer requirements into effective, efficient and elegant solutions
- Use strong systems thinking to enhance existing workflows and experiences for scalability
- Plan and conduct user research and data analysis to understand user needs, behaviors and motivators
- Translate abstract concepts into simple, elegant and innovative designs
- Partner with Product Management and Engineering team members to understand customers and markets
- Effectively communicate design solutions and how they support strategies and customer objectives
- Improve the overall PitchBook customer experience by providing support and feedback to other designers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Digital Design, Human-Centered Design, Psychology or equivalent
- 4+ years of professional experience in a Product Design / UX role
- A portfolio of past work including concepts, ideation, flows and completed designs and final deliverables
