Senior Product Designer

The Senior Product Designer will collaborate with product management and development teams to create end-to-end experiences for products. Responsibilities include interaction design, prototyping, ensuring design quality, and fostering collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and Plan: Collaborate with product management and development team members to shepherd end-to-end experiences from concept to ship for products
• Interaction Design: Create wireframes, journey maps, jobs to be done, scenarios, task flows, and personas in support of interaction designs for hardware and/or software-based experiences
• Prototyping: Use digital and physical tools to demonstrate design to teams, customers, and/or stakeholders
• Design Quality: Lead collaborations with Engineering for successful design implementation and performs quality checks to ensure the final design is implemented as intended
• Collaboration: Seek out opportunities to connect with people and teams working on related projects
• Systems thinking: Ensure products are aligned with latest design system primitives and components

Requirements

• 7+ years experience in product or service design
• OR Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field AND 5+ years experience in product or service design
• OR Master's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field AND 3+ years experience in product or service design
• OR Doctorate in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in product or service design
• OR equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience designing products for end-to-end experiences and applying UX principles, user research methods, and a user-centric approach to product design
• 2+ years shipping products and experiences

Key Skills

• Portfolio showcasing your involvement in projects, highlighting your hands-on experience as a product designer
• Experience contributing to or using an established design system
• Experience designing for developer tools
