The Product Designer will develop proprietary designs that enhance product performance and reflect brand identity. Responsibilities include concept development, surface design, prototyping support, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Concept Development: Translate customer insights and market trends into sketches, CAD files, and design concepts
- Surface Design & Patterns: Create original patterns, textures, and finishes that align with brand aesthetics
- 2D/3D Visualizations: Produce renderings and models to communicate design intent to suppliers and internal teams
- Prototyping Support: Collaborate with sourcing and vendors to iterate on samples for feasibility and manufacturability
- Packaging Design Collaboration: Support packaging refinement and visual consistency through product renderings
- Brand & Logo Application: Ensure cohesive branding across product lines, including logo placement and finishes
- Design Standards: Maintain organized design documentation and version control
- Trend & Material Research: Stay current with design trends, materials, and manufacturing innovations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in consumer product or industrial design
- Proficiency in CAD and 3D visualization tools
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong sketching, rendering, and visualization abilities
- Understanding of materials and manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of surface design, pattern development, and CMF trends
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
