Specialist - Product Designer

The Product Designer will identify customer needs and lead discovery activities to inform design solutions. They will work with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful experiences across web and mobile platforms.

Responsibilities

• Identify and understand customer needs, behaviors, and pain points and use this to define opportunities and problem statements that inform the team’s work
• Lead and support discovery activities such as user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to uncover customer needs and validate opportunities
• Work in a fast-paced team of engineers, product managers, and designers to uncover customer problems and deliver impactful solutions across multiple web and mobile platforms

Requirements

• 3-5 years of product design experience within a consumer-focused organization
• A proven record of successfully shipped mobile and web experiences
• A design thinker and problem solver at heart, with a deep understanding of customers, business, and problems
• Comfortable planning and conducting research from interviews and usability tests to surveys
• Excellent visual design skills and proficiency in design, prototyping, and whiteboarding tools (such as Figma, Framer, Miro)

Key Skills

• Experience working with and contributing to a design system
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English
• Basic knowledge and experience leveraging data and analytics to inform design decisions
• Previous experience working in e-commerce and evidence-driven teams is a plus
