UI/UX Designer - Government Systems

The UI/UX Designer will enhance user experience for military logistics software by designing and iterating on dashboards for commanders and unit leaders. They will collaborate with military staff to create user-centered designs that improve visibility into operations.

Responsibilities

• Dashboard Design: Design and iterate on logistics dashboards for commanders and unit leaders.
• User Research & Feedback: Work with military users to understand how they work and what they need.
• Team Collaboration: Partner with data and development teams to understand what's possible.
• Create filtering and search patterns that support different user mental models and workflows
• Map user journeys and design visualizations for deployment and readiness processes

Requirements

• 1-5 years UI/UX experience (dashboards, data visualization, or analytics tools preferred)
• Ability to obtain a TS Clearance
• Portfolio showing dashboard or data-focused design work
• Understanding of heuristics and how to design for information hierarchy
• Ability to learn technical concepts and translate them into clear interfaces
• Good communication skills for presenting ideas to stakeholders
