
UI/UX Designer - Government Systems

The UI/UX Designer will enhance user experience for military logistics software by designing and iterating on dashboards for commanders and unit leaders. They will collaborate with military staff to create user-centered designs that improve visibility into operations.
Responsibilities
- Dashboard Design: Design and iterate on logistics dashboards for commanders and unit leaders.
- User Research & Feedback: Work with military users to understand how they work and what they need.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with data and development teams to understand what's possible.
- Create filtering and search patterns that support different user mental models and workflows
- Map user journeys and design visualizations for deployment and readiness processes
Requirements
- 1-5 years UI/UX experience (dashboards, data visualization, or analytics tools preferred)
- Ability to obtain a TS Clearance
- Portfolio showing dashboard or data-focused design work
- Understanding of heuristics and how to design for information hierarchy
- Ability to learn technical concepts and translate them into clear interfaces
- Good communication skills for presenting ideas to stakeholders
