
The Graphic Designer will design static ad creatives for a digital advertising agency, focusing on strong typography and layout to capture attention. The role involves producing assets for various platforms while maintaining quality and meeting weekly output targets.
Responsibilities
- Design static ad creatives that use strong typography, hierarchy, and layout to drive attention and clarity
- Translate simple briefs and brand guidelines into multiple on-brand variations for testing
- Produce assets in required sizes and aspect ratios for paid social and display placements
- Use Photoshop as your primary design tool for fast, precise production and retouching; leverage Figma as a secondary tool for layout systems and feedback
- Incorporate AI tools to ideate, explore styles, and generate efficient variations without sacrificing craft
- Hit weekly output targets while keeping quality high and files polished and organized
- Iterate based on feedback and performance insights, simplifying messages to what matters most
- Collaborate with fellow designers to share patterns, templates, and best practices that speed production
- Name, version, and package files cleanly so handoff and reuse are effortless
- Communicate timelines, blockers, and tradeoffs early to keep projects moving smoothly
Requirements
- 2+ years of graphic design experience, with a portfolio that highlights ad creatives or conversion-minded visuals
- High proficiency in Photoshop for compositing, typography, and rapid iteration under deadlines
- Comfort working in Figma for layouts, components, and collaborative reviews
- Hands-on experience using AI in the design process
- Understanding of paid media basics and ad specs; Facebook or paid social experience is a plus
- Thoughtful and methodical approach, balancing creativity with disciplined file hygiene and consistency
- Calm under pressure with strong prioritization skills to meet weekly quotas without cutting corners
- Clear communicator who thrives in an 80% independent, 20% collaborative workflow and welcomes feedback
