Lead the design lifecycle for complex crypto features and create a strategic roadmap for the Crypto business unit. Mentor designers and ensure alignment across the SoFi ecosystem while fostering mainstream adoption of blockchain technology.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design lifecycle for complex, high-impact crypto features across mobile and web
- Partner with Product, Content, Data Science, Engineering, and Research to create well-articulated experiment plans
- Incorporate data insights and user research to craft solutions that establish deep trust in our wallet, exchange, and security features
- Rapidly produce concepts ranging from low-fi sketches to pixel-perfect prototypes
- Act as a mentor and standard-bearer within the design organization
- Collaborate closely with design managers and cross-functional partners to iterate quickly based on feedback
Requirements
- 12+ yrs experience working in product design/UX roles
- Strong design point of view, craft and aesthetics across all common platforms
- Track record for leadership -- delivering end to end solutions from initial concepts to measurable outcomes
- Strong collaboration & influence skills across cross-functional teams
- Ability to leverage user research, user needs and product data to inform product definition and design solutions
- Strong expertise in common design tools
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
