Junior Product Designer — Philips Avent (Part-time 0.8 FTE)

As a Junior Product Designer, you will contribute to product design by balancing usability, form, function, and CMF. You will collaborate with engineers and user researchers to bring ideas to life, from early sketches to working prototypes.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to product design by balancing usability, form, function, CMF, UX/UI and feasibility in meaningful solutions for our users
- Ideate and conceptualize through sketching, CMF exploration, CAD modeling, prototyping, visualization, and storytelling
- Translate lifestyle trends, user insights, and aesthetic developments into inspiring design directions aligned with our product design language and the needs of young families
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in product or industrial design, with experience in CMF design
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field
- T-shaped designer: strong in product design, form-giving and visualizing, with a clear affinity for CMF, aesthetics, trends, and visual storytelling
