
Product Designer - Localization (Bangkok - Based, Relocation Provided)

The Product Designer will design end-to-end product experiences and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on project requirements and timelines. They will also test ideas and gather feedback to iterate on design solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers and other partners to align on scope, requirements, priorities, and delivery timelines
- Design end-to-end product experiences, from early exploration to high-fidelity designs
- Test ideas, prototypes, and hypotheses with users to gather actionable feedback and iterate on solutions
- Present and share your work with peers and stakeholders, both asynchronously and in person
- Continuously improve your craft through feedback, iteration, and learning
Requirements
- 2-5 years of full-time experience as a product designer for digital or web-based products
- Design intuitive, delightful, and high-quality user interfaces, delivering thoughtful UI and interactions with attention to detail and craft
- Solid understanding of UX fundamentals, including user flows, interaction design, user research, usability, and accessibility
- Fluency in Japanese (written and verbal), with the ability to review, design, and critique product experiences in Japanese
- Deep familiarity with Japanese digital products and user behaviors, including common patterns in e-commerce, travel, and mobile experiences
- Strong awareness of cultural nuances that influence user behavior in Japan, such as tone, politeness, formality, and decision-making patterns
- Ability to collaborate with Japan-based stakeholders and incorporate local market insights, content, and requirements into design solutions
- Experience designing for Japanese users, with an understanding of local expectations around clarity, information density, trust signals, and visual hierarchy
- Experience working for an Online Travel Agency or Consumer-facing products
