
Game UX Designer (Casual Mobile)

The Game UX Designer will conduct user research to understand player needs and create intuitive interfaces for mobile games. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet user expectations and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research to understand the needs, behaviors, and pain points of our target audience
- Utilize various research methods to gather actionable insights
- Create personas, user journeys, and experience maps to represent user needs and guide design decisions
- Organize and structure information in a way that ensures users can easily navigate and find what they need
- Develop wireframes, site maps, and user flows that clearly represent the architecture of digital products
- Design wireframes, prototypes, and interaction flows to illustrate design ideas and test concepts
- Plan and conduct usability testing sessions, gathering both qualitative and quantitative data
- Analyze usability test results and user feedback to identify areas of improvement
- Refine designs iteratively based on testing, ensuring the final product meets both user expectations and business objectives
- Work closely with Product Managers, UI Designers, and Developers to ensure that designs are feasible and align with technical constraints
- Contribute to and maintain a design system that ensures consistency across all product interfaces
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in designing features and building games for live-service games
- Extensive understanding, skills, and experience with core-loop, gameplay, and systems design
- Proven success in gameplay, game system design, balancing, and live-ops strategies
- Experience on game engines like Unity is a plus
- Player centric design and strong player empathy
- Understanding other design areas outside gameplay and systems is a plus
- Passion for playing and making games
- Knowledge in latest mobile gaming trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- English is the primary working language; candidates must be fluent in spoken and written English
