Associate Product Designer – Kids & Partnerships Home Team
Target • Minneapolis, United States of America 🇺🇸
As an Associate Product Designer, you will support Home Owned Brand Product Design and Development, focusing on product design strategy and merchant objectives. You will assist in product research, design development, and communication with internal and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Support Home Owned Brand Product Design and Development with direction from design leaders
- Maintain a diligent and self-directed approach to workload
- Provide accurate and timely communication to internal and external partners
- Support the team in product/trend research, trend concepts, product vignettes, color, and design/development of products
- Assist the team in preparing product specs and developing trim, print, and embellishment packages
Requirements
- Four-year degree in Design, Fine Art, or similar area of study, or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of experience
- Computer design system skills including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Experience in CAD illustration or 2D/3D software
- Interest in AI design skills
- Understanding of textiles or raw materials and product production
